PUBLIC NOTICE
A public hearing is scheduled for the 24th day of September 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Russell Thomas, Jr., Public Safety Building, 119 South Lee Street, for the purpose of receiving citizen’s input and comments to discuss the following Request.
Consider an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Americus providing for the approval and regulation of Data Centers, Research and Development Facilities, and Substations; providing for certain conditions for development; repealing all ordinances in conflict herewith; and for other purposes.
As set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1992, the City of Americus does not discriminate based on disability and will assist citizens with special needs. For information, please call 229-924-4411.
